so, what are your thoughts? or what do you know about it? All that i know is that it is directed by some guy by the name of denald de line or something wierd like that, the script is writting byu lasky. and also i know that that owls will be made using CG Animatino, which looks very real. They will also be using some of the same owls that were in Harry Potter. Probably jsut as bacround owls in the great gahoole tree or something like that. I really wish that we could get some more news. o yea, and im sure we all know its comming out in 2007, right?

I'm not expecting greatness, probably because it's more of a children's movie...but im watching it no matter what...OH MAN! you know how they change things from book to movie...sigh that's what they're doin to ga'hoole  |

not neccicarily. has anybody here seen Lion witch and the wardrobe? that was animateed in the same way where GoG movie will be. SUre, children watched the LWandtheW but trust me, it had a lotta violence, including a war and all that. what im thinkin is that they will show fighting and violence, but they wont show blood, and half of the times an owl is going in for a kill they just might show a talon almost cutting the enemy but the camera moved jsut in time.
i read this a while ago. a book series i read "warriors" was meeting with all of the big movie pruducers about making movies out of the books, but tehy could never get the deal because since it would have been animated, children would want to see it and all, but in the Warrior books, there is a heck of a lotta violence, and they couldnt have all the children see all of that stuff.
also, it seems really hard for them to cut out anything, seeing as the gahoole books arnt the biggest books, the movies are likely to be kinda short. if anything, tehy will add stuff, i think. but of course they will probably vut out the pointless stuff like that.

well. one way or another, i cant wait to see it. i cant imaginwe how i will feel when i see the first commercial for it on T.V.!
were sure to get way more members here ocne the movies start to come out.

geez. i REALLY hope that it comes out in early 2007. though probably not, out of the rare times lasky updates her website, she never, NEVER mentions the movie. in "the first collier" in the back of the book, scholastic put a whole page of advertising to theri gahoole webpage. they put thigs lke "visit for the latest news, games, authors news, and the latest bnews on the ga'hoole movie!" just why the HECK would tehy say that about them having movie info.  !?!?!?!?!?!? they havent even updated ther website to "to be a king" they only have up to that books news, and only Aprils laskys 'not so' monthly letter. |

Eh, I wouldn't blame Lasky. She must have a lot goin' on considering the GoG books, her screenplay and other book series. Authors have lives too, ya know. *Winks*

Well there is some new info that has been brought to the table. It turns out that the first Ga'Hoole movie will be all of the first 3 books put together in one! how exciting is that?!?!? I was wondering how they were going to possible make a whole movie out of just The Capture.
